The surface that you practice on can make a real difference to your experience of a pose. Too soft and you will tend to sink and lose awareness. Something with more give can help you press into the ground and feel, well grounded. Whereas harder surfaces can help you feel like you can really push and lift up and away from them. We’re going to look at some of this in my classes this week…
